Lisa Ford
Managing Director
Lisa is the owner and Director of T&L Training and The Teaching and Learning Group. She started up T&L Training in 2007 to offer quality training specialising in the Health and Social Care sector. Lisa has been very hands on in the rapid growth of the company since then and has extensive experience in the Care sector and several years experience in the education sector.
Lisa is a qualified assessor, internal verifier and has several qualifications to meet the requirements of the sector including Level 4 Management. In 2010 Lisa won Business Person of the Year at the Barking and Dagenham Business Awards.
Maria Darbin
Work Based Learning Manager
Maria joined T&L Training in June 2010 to manage the Tier 4 student enrolment and studies. Maria is usually the first point of contact with our international students and overseas agencies.
Maria comes from a background in Customer Service and Team Leading and is a qualified assessor having achieved her D32, D33 and D34 units.
David Ford
Administration Manager
David joined T&L Training in May 2008 as an Administration Officer having previously worked in the Retail and Customer Service sector for 20 years, 18 of which were in a management capacity. In 2011 he was appointed Operations Manager.
As the Operations Manager, David is the support network within T&L Training making sure the day to day operations run smoothly for staff and students alike. David also oversees the Tier 4 student administration, a role he has worked in since 2009.
Adil Bengalha
Morocco Branch Manager
Adil joined T&L Training in 2009 and comes from a background in teaching since 2001 in colleges, training centres and on a one-to-one basis. Adil has developed his skills through various studies including achieving his Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS) qualification and Bachelors degree in Mathematics. Adil has experience of teaching students at varying ages and levels from ESOL, Entry Level, GCSE, AS and A2. Adil speaks three languages; English, French and Arabic.

The staff at T&L Training are team players who are supportive of each other and very knowledgeable and highly qualified in their disciplines.
It is a diverse team who share the common principles and values of the organisation. The team are all very hands on and committed to delivering quality training through sharing best practice and continuous professional development. The whole team contribute to providing a quality service to students, employers and partners and are always on hand to help.
